After that, Kū Ha'aheo will return to the Plaza Stage for in-person performances beginning Tuesday, November 2nd per Hawaii’s latest COVID regulations.
For those wanting to be a more active participant, Waikiki Beach Walk offers free one-hour hula classes every Sunday morning from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Open to all ages and skill levels, Ka Lei Hula teaches the meaning of 5 basic hula steps as well as a Hawaiian chant of welcoming before choreographing it all together into a full dance.
There is a maximum capacity of ten people, so sign up and reserve your spot at the
Ka Lei Hula Eventbrite page. Masks are mandatory and social distancing will be enforced.
