Park West Gallery Hawaii Welcomes GRAMMY Award® Featured Artist Marcus Glenn for Special Events on July 29 and July 30
July 29, 2022 to July 30, 2022
The
Park West Fine Art Museum & Gallery in Waikiki is proud to welcome Marcus Glenn, a GRAMMY Featured and Groundbreaking Contemporary Artist, on Friday, July 29, and Saturday, July 30.
Marcus Glenn is a world-acclaimed contemporary artist. Glenn’s work is collected in over 70 countries and his masterpiece “One Nite Outta This World” was selected as the official art for the 56th GRAMMY Awards. Glenn has perfected his original style, which he calls “Flat Life,” a magnificent combination of both painting and sculpture. His works contain a unique musical element, with jazz-infused elements, and they are represented in exclusive collections throughout the world.
Of his work, Glenn states, “I try to leave a piece of myself in each composition or each canvas – my heart and soul.” This sentiment comes to life in his artwork through his expressive use of bright colors, paper, and fabric. Glenn’s work has a permanent home in the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. He is one of the most sought-after contemporary artists of our time.
